Description and Care:  Dark-green, plentiful leathery foliage.  Forms a graceful, open shrub.

I have never sprayed this rose and it never has any disease problems.  It does not require pruning unless you need to do so to keep it within bounds.  If you must prune it, do so right after flowering.

I grow this rose on its own roots and please be advised that if any branches touch the ground for any length of time, new bushes tend to form. I actually have four bushes now instead of just one because several branches rested on the ground long enough to create new bushes. I like this and separated them and replanted the roses so they are now separate bushes, but this quality is something of which to be aware.

Comments:  This is an extremely easy rose to grow in the hot, humid Southeast and well suited to organic gardening methods. Tea roses in general do well in the warmer areas of the United States, less well in the colder northern areas.
